Check Your Voter Registration

You can check your current registration at: https://sos.tn.gov/govotetn

This tool allows voters to review their registration information, track absentee ballots, see early voting and Election Day information, and find their polling place.

Register to Vote

If you are not already a registered voter, you need to register to vote within thirty (30) days before the election. There are multiple ways to register to vote.

Online

Note: If you register to vote online, you have to vote in person the first time after being registered, unless you registered using the online application while in person at the DMV. 🤦‍♀️

To register online, you can fill out the online application here: https://ovr.govote.tn.gov/

You must have a Tennessee driver’s license or Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security ID in order to submit this application online.

In Person

To register in person, visit the County Election Commission.

By Mail

To register by mail, download, print, and fill out the application with a blue or black ink pen and mail it to your County Election Commission.
